New York, NY – March 21, 2012 – NTT DATA Americas, a leading IT professional services provider and a regional operating unit of the Japan-based NTT DATA Corporation, today announced its Canadian business unit, NTT DATA Canada, Inc., has just been named one of Canada’s Best Employers for New Canadians for 2012. In recent months, the company has also been recognized with three additional awards by Canada’s Top 100 Employers, an annual competition to recognize Canada's best places to work. The other 2012 awards include Nova Scotia’s Top Employers, Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers, and 2011 Canada’s Top Employers for Young People.

Organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers program, each award ranks employers based on eight criteria including physical workplace, work atmosphere, benefits, time off, employee communication, performance management, training & skills development and community involvement.

NTT DATA Canada’s selection was based on its progressive and forward-thinking policies for traditional programs like its Employee Referral program, Wellness Benefit, Tuition Reimbursement program, Employee Development program and health benefits program.

“We are proud to be recognized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for our contributions in Canada,” said Dean Williams, executive vice president of Global Human Capital at NTT DATA, Inc. “NTT DATA Americas is looking forward to expanding its presence in Canada and is committed to maintaining a positive and fulfilling workplace.”
