Plano, TX – August 27, 2014 - NTT DATA, Inc., a leading healthcare technologies and IT services provider, today announced an expanded relationship with Robert Wood Johnson Health System, New Jersey’s premier health system. NTT DATA’s Optimum™ Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Suite was chosen by Robert Wood Johnson to be deployed at their Rahway, NJ location as well as the newly acquired Somerset location in Somerville, NJ. With a strong relationship between NTT DATA and RWJ, the organization has grown its implementation of Optimum because of the operational efficiencies that Optimum provides.
“Expanding our relationship with NTT DATA to drive efficiencies across our organization made sense for us” said Kevin Dunn, vice president of Revenue Cycle Services. “We are very confident that the Optimum RCM product will enhance the performance of our Revenue Cycle system-wide.”
RWJUH New Brunswick has been an NTT DATA client for 25 years, while RWJUH Hamilton has been a client for 15. According to Dunn, the Optimum System allows the hospital to produce clean and accurate bills with over 90 percent of inpatient accounts being billed at the contracted rate.
