NTT DATA Achieves Key AWS Partner Network Milestones
Cloud Transformation momentum grows as NTT DATA boosts its AWS Certifications 10x and achieves the AWS Mainframe Migration Competency
PLANO, Texas – April 6, 2021 – NTT DATA Services, a global digital business and IT service provider, revealed today several milestones illustrating the ongoing success of its Amazon Web Services (AWS) relationship. Building on the acquisition of Flux7, an AWS consulting provider, and the strategic collaboration agreement announced with AWS last year, NTT DATA has grown the number of AWS certifications it holds 10x since April 2020. This technical expertise was highlighted recently as it received the AWS Mainframe Migration Competency.
Flux7 momentum
Now complete, the Flux7 acquisition continues to be a source of momentum within NTT DATA, acting as an innovation lab that helps clients unlock hidden value through AWS services and cloud-native technologies. For example, it has contributed a growing platform of solutions, including Build Cloud Foundations, Deploy Containers for AWS, Transformative Migrations and Compute at Scale that enable enterprises to securely accelerate their cloud journey. With the Flux7 integration complete, NTT DATA has achieved a range of AWS Competency designations, including the AWS DevOps Competency, AWS Migration Competency, AWS SaaS Competency and the AWS Security Competency.

AWS Mainframe Migration Competency
NTT DATA also announced today that it has achieved AWS Mainframe Migration Competency status. This designation recognizes NTT DATA’s more than 20 years of mainframe workload migration expertise in which its certified consultants help clients migrate their workloads to AWS, minimizing IT disruption and other risks with its patented UniKix technology, end-to-end approach, and proven methodology that expedites modernization efforts. To achieve the competency, AWS Partners must provide supporting documentation, demonstrating technical proficiency and proven customer success.
